Jay and Silent Bob Get Old (at the Fargo Film Festival!)

FFF2012Jayandsilent

Jay and Silent Bob, the iconic characters in Kevin Smith’s movies “Clerks,” “Mallrats,” “Chasing Amy,” “Dogma,” “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” and “Clerks 2” will kick off the opening night of the 2012 Fargo Film Festival at 8 p.m. on March 6 at the Fargo Theatre.

Played by Jason Mewes and Smith, the dope-smoking duo is known for their off-color commentary. In recent years, that commentary has been chronicled in Smith’s ongoing podcasts, including the “Jay and Silent Bob Get Old” series, which is a top-ranked comedy podcast on iTunes.

The duo will be recording a podcast during the Fargo appearance.

Reserved seating costs $35 and $45; fees may apply.

Admission to this special event is sold separately and is NOT included in ANY festival passes.

Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday, January 27 at the Tickets 300 kiosk, (866) 300-8300 or www.jadepresents.com.
